Our Passport, Citizenship and Civil Registration (PCCR) work touches the lives of the vast majority of UK citizens. We employ over 4,000 people in a network of offices across the UK across our three services.
His Majesty’s Passport Office (HMPO)
HM Passport Office is the sole issuer of British passports, serving over 7 million British customers across the globe annually.
General Register Office (GRO)
The GRO oversees the system of civil registration, including births, adoptions, civil partnerships, marriages and deaths, in England and Wales. We do this in partnership with a range of government departments and the 174 local authorities who provide the service directly to their local community, registering over 1.3 million life events each year.

We are based at locations across the U.K., and many of our roles are suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in an office.
