We’re recruiting Immigration Caseworkers

I applied to the Home Office because I was looking for an opportunity which would actually challenge me,

and I don’t regret that decision because this has been amazing.

I have done so many things which I never thought I would. So I’m really grateful for that.

What attracted me to the Home Office, and particularly to the role as a Caseworker is I do have an inquisitive mindset.

I like looking for the details in things.

What attracted me to the Home Office is the level of responsibility within the roles.

Working in this nature, this kind of field, really gives me a sense of purpose.

Some crucial skills is I would say time management. Also, remaining calm under pressure.

I would say that they would need to have a really good attention to detail to collate evidence and data.

so that a decision maker can decide what the outcome of that case should be based on the facts provided.

Now, the job itself is, it’s very high profile, and it’s quite demanding.

but every day, so very different.

It’s a fantastic opportunity that I’ve been given.

I only wish that I started it a lot earlier in life.

You just have to have a commitment, a drive, and the Home Office will provide it. You will get the support.

you will get your encouragements.

You just need to bring yourself, and your skills, and that’s enough.
